THE CATHEDRAL FREE CLINIC STORY
People need healthcare. People need hope. There are thousands of people in Saginaw County each year who survive without health insurance. Cathedral Free Clinic offers these individuals access to free primary healthcare services. The clinic wants to foster hope and health in the community by providing access to the medical and spiritual care that people need.
Twenty-two counties in Michigan have a free medical clinic to serve the needs of the poor, the uninsured, and the working underinsured. The Cathedral Free Clinic is the only free clinic in Saginaw County that offers basic primary medical care services to persons without insurance or a medical home.
Cathedral Free Clinic seeks to be an example of the Church’s commitment to serve the sick and care for those in need. Through modern medicine and the ancient power of prayer, Cathedral Free Clinic offers health and hope to the uninsured members of the Great Lakes Bay Region.
